- DO keep everything loose on top. Colorful jeans are usually made in a very form fitting skinny cut.
- DON’T be afraid to go up a size. These jeans tend to show EVERYTHING.
- DO wear pastels if bright colors are too much for your taste.
- DON’T count yourself out if this trend doesn’t seem to work out for you. A classic red or cobalt blue jean is just the spice you’re looking for.
- DO color block. It looks great and it’s ultra chic for the spring season!

Such a useful post and just in time! I just picked up a pastel blue and peach pair of colored jeans recently in an attempt to promote the evolution of my wardrobe. I’ve been unsure of how to break out the peach, and your tips ALL APPLY! I’m very excited about rocking them this summer and hunting for things that will do these pieces justice. I thought Id definitely have to rock them with a white or black top to tone em down, but the examples up above give me courage to step out a little more.
